Understanding Roles and Permissions

How to setup and manage users on your team.

Every person on your Bronco team has a role that determines what they can see and do. Roles are assigned when a teammate is invited and can be changed at any time by an Admin from Settings → Users.

The roles

Admin

Admins have full control of the workspace. They can:

  • Create, edit, and publish campaigns

  • Upload and manage creatives, and use Creative Studio

  • View all reporting dashboards

  • Invite, edit, and remove users

  • Manage advertisers, audiences, and connectors

  • Access Billing — invoices, payments, and statements

The person who creates a Bronco account is an Admin by default.

User

Users can do the day-to-day work without workspace administration. They can:

  • View campaigns

  • Upload and manage creatives, and use Creative Studio

  • View all reporting dashboards

  • View advertisers and audiences in Settings

Users cannot create or edit campaigns, manage other users, configure connectors, or access Billing.

Which role should I give a teammate?

  • Give Admin to anyone who needs to build and launch campaigns, manage the team, or handle billing.

  • Give User to teammates who need visibility — checking performance, reviewing campaigns, working with creatives — but shouldn't change campaign settings or account configuration.

To invite a teammate and assign their role, see Managing Users and User Groups.
