Every strategy in a campaign has its own budget and schedule, set in the Budget & Schedule section of the strategy editor.
Choosing a budget
Enter the maximum amount you want to spend, then choose how it applies:
Daily Budget — the most you'll spend per day. The strategy keeps delivering day after day until its end date (or indefinitely, if you don't set one).
Lifetime Budget — the total you'll spend across the strategy's entire run. Bronco paces delivery across your flight dates.
New strategies start with a $100 Lifetime Budget — adjust it to fit your plan. The budget must be greater than zero.
Setting your dates
Start date — required. New strategies default to today (Eastern Time).
End date — required for a Lifetime Budget, since Bronco needs to know the window to pace your spend across. With a Daily Budget the end date is optional; leave it empty and the strategy runs until you pause it.
The end date must be on or after the start date.
What you can change after publishing
Once a strategy is published (Active or Paused), two settings lock:
The budget type — you can't switch between Daily and Lifetime.
The start date — the flight has already begun.
The budget amount and the end date stay editable, so you can extend a flight or increase spend on a strategy that's performing well.
Budgets and billing
Your payment method is billed as your campaigns deliver. See Making a Payment for how billing works.
