Building a campaign in Bronco is a three-step flow: set up the campaign basics, define one or more strategies, then review and publish. This article walks through the whole journey; each step has its own detailed guide.
Campaign creation is available to Admins. To start, go to Campaigns and click Create Campaign.
Step 1: Campaign basics
The first screen collects three things:
Name — what you'll call this campaign.
Advertiser — the business this campaign is for.
Objective — what you want the campaign to achieve:
Awareness — expand your brand's presence to a wider audience.
Traffic — drive traffic to your website.
Leads — generate qualified leads.
Sales — increase your sales.
Retargeting — re-engage users who already interacted with your site (as Tracked by the Bronco pixel).
If you choose Leads or Sales, a Performance objective field appears where you can enter a target Cost per Lead or Cost per Purchase. This is a target, not a limit — it helps Bronco optimize and measure performance, and it's optional.
Click Continue to save and move on.
Step 2: Define your strategy
A strategy is a line of delivery within your campaign — it has its own budget and schedule, geography, audience settings, delivery hours, apps and channels, and creatives. A campaign can have one strategy or several, each reaching a different audience or carrying a different message.
For each strategy you'll set up:
Budget & Schedule — how much to spend and when (see Budget and Scheduling)
Geography — where your ads run (see Targeting: Demographics and Geography)
Demographics or Retargeting audiences — who sees your ads, depending on your objective
Apps & Channels — the streaming apps and channels your ads appear on
Delivery Time Slots and Frequency — when ads deliver and how often per household (see Delivery Time Slots and Frequency Capping)
Creatives — the videos that will play (see Adding Creatives to a Campaign)
As you refine your settings, the Strategy Estimate panel updates live with your estimated audience reach, impressions, and households.
To add more strategies, use Add New in the Strategies sidebar — see Working with Strategies for adding, duplicating, and managing them.
Before you can continue, every strategy needs a budget greater than zero, a start date, at least one app or channel, and at least one creative. You can click Save Draft at any point to save your progress and come back later.
Step 3: Review and publish
The summary screen shows your readiness checklist — typically a Payment Method and, for most objectives, an active Web Pixel. Once every task shows Ready, click Publish Campaign and your campaign goes live. See The Campaign Summary and Publishing for details.
A note on saving
Your edits aren't saved automatically — they're saved when you click Save Draft or Continue. If you try to leave with unsaved changes, Bronco will warn you before discarding them.
